HINOKICHO PARK BEHIND TOKYO MIDTOWN, ROPPONGI

HINOKICHO PARK BEHIND TOKYO MIDTOWN, ROPPONGI

If the little ones need a wriggle, behind Tokyo Midtown department store is a large open park (Hinokicho Park) with a few pieces of playground equipment. There is also a pond and area to have a sit-down picnic.  There are often art installations and special events held in certain sections of the park grounds. In the hot months, take a pair of swimmers and towel too – there is a little splash pad too (Down near the slide.)

This is in the Roppongi area – see here for other suggestions for fun things to do and places to eat with kids in this area.

Roppongi Midtown have a foot bath ( complimentary) in the park behind the complex in Summer
It is not for splashing but for sitting and chatting with your feet in the cool water. Towels are available for 100 yen.    Closed on Tuesdays.

And if your kids need a wriggle but you don’t have time for the park, in front of Midtown are some sculptures that my kids just love to climb all over.
