This is a personal recommendation of mine – for those who are keen to either further their Japanese studies or want to start from the beginner level I strongly recommend looking into online classes with Japademy.
This is also perfect if you would like to take just a few classes to learn a bit of “travel Japanese” too. (This is such a fun way to learn as you can put your new skills to work right away on your holiday – it’s a really gratifying way to learn. )
Classes are taught by native Japanese speakers and you can choose a group course OR private lessons.
It’s organised so well. When you sign up – you choose all the timings that would suit you, your availability and your timezone. It gives so so much flexibility.
Japademy create their own textbooks and also use other well-recognized texts used at high schools and universities around the world.
Once you have a Japademy log in, you will also access to online videos to help you practice grammar and intonation and there are also online flashcards so you can study at your own pace (perfect for parents.)
I’ve taken part in the Japademy program and I think it’s perfect for practicing Japanese in real life capacity.
As I talk about in my blog post “My Shortcuts to Conversational Japanese“- one way to get good at conversational Japanese quickly is to have an language exchange partner. A course like this is perhaps an even better option because that “friend” will actually correct you as you go – grammar check AND help you with intonation.
