I’m 1000% biased but, as we got married in Port Douglas, it will always be our special place. It’s where we were married and we try and visit once every 2-3 years with our kids. Port Douglas is 1 hour drive north from Cairns in Queensland, Australia.
It’s the perfect holiday spot for those who like warm weather (even in Aussie “winter”) and for those who like slow holidays with kids and are also obsessed with really good, fresh food.
