TOKYO DOME CITY RESTAURANTS

If you’re looking for family-friendly dining options around and within Tokyo Dome City and the immediate area:

Whether you’re just exploring the area of have been to Asobono Playcentre with kids, here are my favourite healthier and/or kid-friendly restaurants in and next to Tokyo Dome.

BIKKURI DONKEY ( HAMBURGER PATTY GRILL DINER)
Many adults meals come out on hot grill plates so please watch little toddlers and baby hands here.
Please note that when the menu states “burger” it refers to a ground meat patty.
Bikkuri Donkey have two kids menu options:  Kids Regular Burger Plate – comes with a small salad and rice ( 550 yen or 660 yen with a drink) OR Kids Egg Burger Plate – comes with a small salad, fries and a sunny side egg on the burger patty ( 660 yen or 770 yen with a drink .)
They have high chairs ( for food court use) & accept most major credit cards. It’s a casual restaurant and lots of families dine here.
It’s a great place for grease and fries if that’s what you’re craving.
The restaurant allows smoking in certain parts of the restaurant at certain times of day.   They have a kids menu and they have high chairs.
There is one gluten free hamburger steak option at this restaurant too.   I would budget around 1500 yen per adult to dine here.
This restaurant accepts most major credit cards.
BIKKURI DONKEY TOKYO DOME CITY
文京区後楽1-3-61 後楽園GO FUN内
WITHIN THE “GO FUN” FOOD COURT, 1-3-61 KORAKU, BUNKYO-KU

OPEN WEEKDAYS 11AM-9PM
OPEN WEEKENDS 10AM-9PM

*Personally I’d avoid Denny’s if you’re hoping it will be like the US version.  It’s a Japanese diner and is fine for what it is ( the kids plates are pretty cute) but it’s definitely not the same as the American counterpart.

On the ground floor concourse section of Tokyo Dome (actually inside the Dome Stadium – for while you are watching a game or concert)  you will find Postata – a sandwich and cold press juice store.
Their sandwiches are filled to the brim with fresh fruit, veggies and different types of protein.

Just outside of the Tokyo Dome City complex is TGI Fridays ( next to Tokyo Dome City and 300 metres from Suidobashi Station.)
They accept most major credits and also take reservations.  They also have booth seating which is always handy with little ones.
For an adult lunch, I’d budget 2000 yen,  3000 yen for dinner time.
The kids burger plate is 495 yen and includes fries and a small fruit plate.

Did you know that Japan has all you can eat restaurant Sizzler?

There is one on the second floor of Tokyo Dome Hotel.
It is an easy option for families who want to eat lots of salads and American style meals.  It is also an easy option for gluten free visitors -they have a detailed allergen menu for their steak sauces and also for salad options etc.
Budget for adults for lunch – 3000 yen and approx 6000 yen at dinnertime.
Sizzler accepts most major credit cards. The entire restaurant is non-smoking.  There are spaces for strollers and there is also a kids menu.
See the children’s menu at Sizzler here.
