Futako Tamagawa is a popular place for Japanese families to reside in the suburbs of Tokyo.

The Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Complex is particularly family-friendly. The Eric Carle indoor playcentre is located on the 8th floor. Our favourite family friendly restaurants in the complex are :
100 Spoons, Bubbys and Chanoma (for visiting with a baby who isn’t yet walking).
There is a free baby-room with changing tables, a vending machine and boiling water to make formula. This shopping complex has free stroller rental (for use within the shopping mall.). The bathrooms also have kids’ sized toilets – fabulous for if you’re at the toilet training stage in Japan.
