Many kids LOVE it when the staff at the restaurant sing Happy Birthday or at least make fuss (whether it be the option of a dessert plate or a candle in a pancake etc.) It’s always best to tell the staff that you have a birthday in your group when making the reservation.

Aloha Table
Google your closest Aloha Table store. My kids love these restaurants for the pancakes that come with a chocolate pen. My husband and I love it for the yummy food and, in particular, the colourful salads.
Rainforest Cafe (Tokyo)
This is out next to Tokyo Disneyland. They do a great job at making birthdays feel so so special.
OUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO EAT AT AS A FAMILY IN THIS AREA IS DEFINITELY THE RAINFOREST CAFE!!
It’s so cheesy and fun. The food is overpriced but the portions are good and every 15 mins or so the “animals” in the cafe move around and there is a fake rainstorm. There are also a giant fish tank.
The stairs down to the restaurant at the Rainforest Cafe. The staff can help you bring down your stroller.
Please note that this restaurant is so busy once the disney crowd disperse for the the day.
Please note that there is no elevator down to the restaurant – the staff will help you carry your stroller down though. Please budget for 2000 yen per adult at lunch and more like 4000 yen at dinner time. They do have a kids menu.
