WHERE TO STAY AS A FAMILY IN PARIS
We stayed at the Hotel Du Collectionneur Paris as I was so set on a hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I did love this hotel – we got two rooms (one adult and one child per room) and paid for the room with the view and the other was a “garden view -slightly less expensive. The hotel and the staff were lovely but I found the area to be a little less convenient and I found us jumping on trains and in cabs a bit more than I planned.
However, the Arc De Triomphe was just 17 mins walk away and it meant that we past it many times a day. That was so special.

Ice-skating in Paris (Winter)
If you decide to go ice-skating in Winter in Paris with kids – best to head to Grand Palais – Champs Elysees. It’s the largest indoor ice rink in the world, apparently.
The Jellycat Patisserie experience in Paris with kids
It is held at Galeries Lafayette, Paris.
Please note that this is VERY popular and you can’t make reservations ahead of time. So it will involve queuing. Best to arrive 30 mins before they open (they open at 10am Mon – Sat and 11am on Sundays.)
The Musee du Louvre
We didn’t make it to the Louvre on our most recent trip. However, I have visited before children. When planning your trip to the Louvre with kids – keep in mind that you can book for the late night hours on Wednesdays and Fridays (open til 9pm!) and there are less people around than during the day. Last entry is one hour before closing.
The Orangerie Museum
We didn’t get there but it’s top of my list for next time, for sure.
A one hour cruise down the Seine with Eiffel Tower Views
You can prebook on klook. This is a good option as they allow children AND there is a rooftop which makes for beautiful photo ops.
A private kid-centric tour of Paris
For this, I recommend booking a tour with Zoe from The Petit Guide.
A private family cooking class in Paris
Book with Lili and Clo – you can even learn how to make macarons.
A suggested itinerary for visiting Paris with kids
Walk from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame.
This will take approximately 1 hour total but you can break it up all along the way with food and sightseeing.
