OTHER COUNTRIES: LONDON CITY AIRPORT WITH KIDS

It’s important to note that there are 3 airports in London. London City, Gatwick and Heathrow.

We used London City from London to Edinburgh recently. The airport is tinier than some airports in Northern Queensland! My little boy said it looks like a lego set !

We took a cab from our hotel in Piccadilly Circus (too much luggage!) but it is also possible to take the tube.

The nice and small airport made it nice and easy with kids. There were a few food options before security but the two decent sit-down restaurants are after security.

Before security we could get some treats at WH Smith- mostly Haribo goodies for my two.

We chose to eat at Juniper & Co for brekkie. No waiting for us at all – very easy.
My little boy loved the banana bread so much that we got two servings.

I had smoked salmon & eggs at Juniper & Co in London City Airport.

Duty Free Shopping at London City Airport
I bought these for the kids at the duty free shop after security. Most of the other options were booze and perfume but there was a small toy section.
