This is one of the hotels I recommend staying as a family when visitingTokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea. See my full list of my recommended hotels in this area here. You don’t HAVE to stay out near Tokyo Disney when visiting the parks, if you’d prefer to stay in central Tokyo, please see my recommended areas to stay and why here.

Ibis Styles Tokyo Bay
(My personal favourite in the Tokyo Disney area – cheap and cheerful & has everything we need)
-Affordable
-Public Bath inside the hotel for guests to use
-Clean, modern rooms
-Complimentary shuttles to and from both Disney Parks & Shin-Urayasu Shopping Mall
-A simple but yummy buffet breakfast restaurant
-Rooms accommodate 2, 3, 4 or 5 people
-5 mins by bus from Shin-Urayasu Station (just take a cab from the taxi rank at Shin-Urayasu Station – so much easier.)
I’ve personally stayed here with my two kids and it was fantastic. The shuttle to and from Disney was great. The shuttles start as early as 7am and last shuttle back to the hotel is around 10:30pm. Shuttles can also transport guests to and from Shin-Urayasu Station.
The rooms were medium sized ( large by Tokyo standards) and everything was clean and fresh. I also made use of the coin laundry facilities.
*A little note on coin laundries in hotels in Japan. The detergent is almost always built into the machine. If someone in your family has allergies to certain washing powders it is probably best to email in advance to find out what they use and what your options are. Oh.. and another note.. if the washer and dryer is built into one machine – the dryer setting really only works well for 1-2 items (big items like a pair of jeans and a long sleeved top, I mean) so don’t do what I do and just put in heaps of things to dry for longer – hoping that they will dry. It doesn’t work like that. Best to do little tiny drying sessions for the best drying results. It a lesson in patience but it will save you lots of coins in the long run
Breakfast was simple and it did the job on our way out the door. The hotel gifts kids with cute little complimentary slippers that they can take home and keep.
The in-house public bath is 500 yen to use and is open between 6am-10am and then again from 5pm-1am. *The bath is for full-toilet trained children and older. Children 9 and younger or 120cm or shorter in height can use the bath with their parent of the opposite gender.
There is a 7-Eleven ( the Irifune 4-chome store) just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a big shopping mall called Aeon Style ShinUrayasu- just 4 mins in a cab from the hotel (this shopping mall has a large supermarket, an H&M, a few large sporting goods shops, Karaoke, games arcade, electrical goods store and a 100 yen shop – and many others.) I speak in detail about this shopping mall here.
We even brought back a takeout pizza box from Pan Galactic Pizza at Tokyo Disneyland. You can ask for a “vegetarian pizza” here if you need. It will take a few mins longer though.
If you need to buy nappies / diapers while staying at this Ibis Styles location – go to Drug Seims (7 mins walk.) Open 9am-10:45pm.
