THE MOST CHRISTMASSY PARTS OF TOKYO DISNEYLAND

The most Christmassy parks of Tokyo Disneyland.
I have my whole post on Tokyo Disneyland here and another post with what to pack here.  BUT if you’re going to Tokyo Disneyland purely to up the Christmas vibes for your family, I recommend taking a read of this post in particular.

I wrote in my Tokyo Christmas and Winter faves post, Japan can feel quite different to other countries when it comes Christmas.  But it is possible to make this holiday season feel really special – it requires a little more preparation than normal.

For me, it doesn’t start to feel truly Christmassy until the sun starts to go down ( and, luckily, in Winter, that can be around 4pm!) but, as always, Disney wastes no detail in making as many tiny corners Disney as Christmas themed as possible.

The main streets in the entrance are some of my favourite as the pretend shop windows are all set up beautifully in Christmas theme and the Christmas lights are even shaped like Mickey.

The big tree is on the opposite side of Cinderella’s Castle to the entrance, but that is because they will use the front of the castle for projection/music/fireworks shows in the evenings.

But a little secret Christmas highlight was the Country Bear Theater. They have changed up the show for Christmas.
And the show runs continuously all day – and it’s not very popular- so we have never had to wait more than 1o minutes. Also, the waiting area is heated so it’s a lovely respite from the cold.

And then, of course, there is the Christmas Parade -which, ordinarily runs twice a day.
It’s shorter than the Dreaming Up parade but is very cute and festive.
